Oct. 17: If all goes well today and tomorrow, we plan to open the NEW front doors on Monday, and conduct business from our new teller line. We still have phase three left which includes improvements to the drive-thru and constructing three offices on the south side of the building.
At this point, we expect to move new furniture into the finished offices and lobby the first week in November, with the remainder of furniture being placed closer to the completion date in early December.
Sept. 11: The front of 4th Street branch was demolished this morning, getting ready for the new entrance which will be located at the center of the building. During this demo work, we ask that you use the parking lot on the south side of the building, next to the ATM. As always, we appreciate your cooperation.
JULY 29: The cabinets, flooring and interior windows are being installed this week in the north wing, followed by some touch-up painting which will bring the first phase to an end. The beginning of phase two, which includes renovation of the center area of the building and creating a new entrance, has already begun with prep work. Later this week, the existing lobby teller line will be cut down to two windows and moved just to the left of the existing south entrance. Members who need to speak with a Member Service Officer will be escorted through the back hallway to the new area until the main entrance is complete. The drive-thru will remain open through phase two. But for those who wish to avoid any possible congestion due to the construction, we also have the following options for your banking convenience:
JULY 3: Phase one electric rough-in was completed late last week, while dry walling began. The first coat of paint is expected to be complete by the end of this week, which will allow the finish carpentry to begin Friday, July 11th.
